The motive was to run a Healthy Breakfast Program addressing the students. It was attended by all the students and the teachers from Grades I-VII. A power point presentation was shown on Nutrition. The students were apprised on how food is a necessary thing for the body. Nutritious foods help to maintain good health. Consumption of healthy foods helps to minimize any health related problems. The students should know, how, when and what to eat. They should always include a portion of green vegetables, fruits or salads in their meals. Green vegetables are sources of vital nutrients. The digestive system plays a key role in our overall health. Fiber rich foods such as whole grain wheat, bran rice, etc. help to improve the digestive system. A balanced and nutritious diet helps the proper growth of the body.
